Winter Hawthorne

I was deeply moved over the last couple of days by the personal ways that friends of this blog once again expressed their own thoughts in response to the “Business as Usual” post.

In the spirit of what these friends have written, may we together enter as many days as we are given with the anticipation of an unfolding new creation that does not require sign miracles to renew our faith, but rather the supernatural work of the Spirit to renew our hearts! (Gal 3:3) (Gal 5:22-23).

To temporarily sum up so much of what we have been talking about together over the past few months, what could be better in the coming new year than for others to see in us a down to earth expression of what our hearts were made for (Gal 5:14) in the middle of circumstances that give us a chance to show that something too wonderful for words is already happening in us (Gal 4:19)?
